Getting the RSS feed from this website is very simple. Some browsers (like Internet Explorer 7) have RSS readers embedded in the application. However, there are numerous RSS readers on the market available for download and installation on your desktop or notebook, with several available free-of-charge. For example, Feed Reader at FeedReader.com has a free RSS reader available for non-commercial use.

Once you have found a RSS reader you like, all you have to do is copy our website's RSS feed link into your RSS reader's application. Then, any addtions or changes to our website's content will be automatically captured by your RSS reader.

* To copy our RSS feed link, just right mouse click on the RSS Feed icon on the left navigation pane, select Copy Shortcut, then paste the link information into a new feed in your RSS reader application.

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". RSS is really cool website feature and enables those who rely on the information in our website to automatically get notifications when content is added or updated.

Our website's RSS feed is located on the left navigation pane just below the list of pages.

To read more about RSS, see About RSS.

Site registration only requires you to provide a username and a contact e-mail. We fully respect everyone's privacy and will never require you to provide any more information with your registration. However, it would be helpful if everyone at least updates their user profile with a first and last name. This helps us to remember who really belongs to the e-mail address.

Primarily, we will use your registration to control access to certain applications and features on this site and to send you notifications regarding any important changes or newsworthy events.

*** WARNING ***
Please note your user profile information is available within certain applications (i.e. Scout Forum). So before you add any additional information to your user profile, please consider what you provide may be visible to others.

Registration on our website uses an automated form to create a user account and provide a temporary password. We default all new registrations to "Guest" to prevent unscrupulous access into the posting areas of our Scout Forum. Our forum is for Pack 418 members only. Without this level of security on our site's registration process, anyone (including non-Pack 418 members) could register and gain access to the posting areas of our forum.

If you are a Pack 418 member and have registered on this site, just let us know at feedback@pack418.org, and we will upgrade your permissions for posting to the Scout Forum.
